Welcome to the Family Law Act Online Training Course
The IPC Family Law Act Online Training Course was designed for settlement workers with little or no knowledge of the Family Law Act in BC. This self-paced version of the FLA Course is now available to settlement workers and others interested in learning more about family law in BC, for free.
The course provides basic information on the Family Law Act and describes what information you can provide clients and where they can find additional legal help.
The course also explains when clients should seek legal advice. It is important that you explain to clients that you can only help them with general information about family law and that they should consult a lawyer for legal advice.
